Ever since getting my first camera – a Canon AE1 given to me by my friend Paul during the eighties – I’ve been taking pictures. Unlike other things composed on paper, in music, or in moving image art, still photography seems so immediate and refreshing to me.
My first foray into this medium was capturing rock musicians in concert, whether on stage or in the street. The blurring effect I went after seemed to encapsulate musician’s energy and power like no other medium could.
From then on, my interest has been with landscapes. From my travels around the country, some trips taken expressly for photography, I’ve found a never-ending world of imagery to explore. Click on any image to enlarge.
